Socorro has a bike shop: Spoke 'n Word Cycles. They have generous hours, and stock most everything you might need for unexpected repairs. They are also a consistent sponsor of the Socorro Fat Tire Fiesta, and all around proponent of mountain biking in the Socorro area. Check 'em out.
