Hop Canyon Run On June 1
Hop Canyon residents Gerry Strathman and Linda Giesen have invited
us to join them on Sunday morning, June 1st, run from
their home to Kelly and back. Stay tuned for the exact time and
directions.

- Cycling (Road): MWF 11:30 AM, meet at the IRIS Parking Lot.
- Cycling (MTB): Friday 11:30 AM, meet at the IRIS Parking Lot.
- Running: Sunday social run, meet at Tech pool parking lot, 7AM Sundays.

Jay Benson Triathlon Results
E.P. and Alyssa Higgs, and Matt Perini, were among over 300
triathletes participating in last Sunday's Jay Benson Triathlon at
Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, and each came away with an
award. E.P. and Matt fought it out in the Clydesdale division, with
E.P. taking second in the under-40 group with a time of 1:10:12,
while Matt took third in the 40-over division with a time of
1:08:20. Alyssa had the more impressive performance, winning the
16-under age group with a time of 1:10:46. Alyssa's time was fast
enough to beat all but two of the females under 30 years old, and
she's already threatening to beat Dad at the next race.
